As an archaeologist accustomed to exploring the ancient, the warm, family-run atmosphere of the hotel offered a refreshing contrast. Each morning, we eagerly anticipated the breakfast with its varied menu, providing options that catered to both my partner's and our child's preferences. The friendly staff was always ready to assist, making us feel at home during our visit. Our clean room boasted a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains, which we especially appreciated while enjoying the closed balcony. The convenient ski storage area was invaluable for drying our little one's shoes after an afternoon out. The hotel's proximity to the bus stop allowed easy access to the village, and we thoroughly enjoyed hiking along the lake path behind the hotel-a memorable activity for our family. We cherished our experience in Gosau and look forward to returning for a longer stay in the future.
